Dreame Showcases Three Physical AI Technology Foundations Across 100+ Products at IFA 2026

BERLIN, Sept. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Dreame Technology today showcased over 100 products across more than 16 categories at IFA 2026, alongside multiple technology innovations. Six products spanning categories including robot vacuums, hair dryers, Dreame Home Environment Appliances, window-cleaning robots and robotic lawn mowers received international awards.
Beyond the breadth of its product portfolio, Dreame presented a common technology architecture shaped by nine years of development in intelligent hardware, AI models and motion control. The architecture comprises three technology foundations: the Omni-Perception System, the Unified Home Intelligence Model, and the Intelligent Actuation & Control System. Related capabilities are also being explored through the research-stage ECHO S1 and ECHO P1.
Across different product categories, Dreame is building on and applying shared capabilities in perception, algorithms and control to address a range of real-world tasks.
100+ Products Address Real-World Needs
At IFA 2026, Dreame’s product portfolio spans smart cleaning, air purification, window cleaning, personal care and cooking applications. While these products take different forms and address different needs, they share a common approach: covering the space, recognizing the environment, determining the task, and executing actions reliably.
For multi-storey homes across global markets, the Cyber X stair-climbing system for robotic vacuums combines a biomimetic six-legged, three-section tracked structure with 3D ToF sensing technology. It can recognize staircase structures and move between floors, extending automated cleaning from a single floor to multi-storey residential spaces.
For heavy kitchen grease, the T16 Pro Heat wet and dry vacuum combines high-temperature cleaning, sensor-based detection and an extendable mechanical structure to improve its adaptability to different types of dirt and spatial conditions.
In other household scenarios, the FP10 air purifier is designed to address airborne pet hair and broader air-purification needs in homes with pets; the Pano10 Series window-cleaning robot uses a robotic-arm structure to reach corners and edges that conventional cleaning devices struggle to access; and the LumiDryer hair dryer applies light-based technology to hair care.
Products incorporating perception, algorithmic and control capabilities provide a real-world foundation for applying Dreame’s Physical AI technologies across multiple scenarios, while also supporting the continued development of the three technology foundations.
Three Technology Foundations Connect Perception, Decision-Making and Physical Execution
Dreame’s Physical AI architecture is built around three core stages — perception, decision-making, and execution — with feedback enabling continuous adjustment throughout the process. Each of the three technology foundations plays a distinct role within this architecture.
The Omni-Perception System combines sensing hardware and perception algorithms to acquire information about spaces, objects, and device status, providing environmental information for subsequent decision-making.
The Unified Home Intelligence Model integrates MLLM, VLM, and VLA capabilities to interpret environmental information, task instructions, and task objectives, supporting the system in determining what needs to be done and how a task should be carried out.
The Intelligent Actuation & Control System combines motors, joints, reducers, and control algorithms to translate model-generated strategies into physical actions.
The three technology foundations have evolved from Dreame’s existing technology systems rather than being developed separately from its current products. Active binocular vision technology has been applied to navigation and obstacle avoidance in robotic vacuums and is being further explored for robot interaction and precision manipulation. Multimodal large language models have also been applied in robotic vacuums and wet and dry vacuums to improve the interpretation of user instructions and usage scenarios. At the control layer, high-speed digital motors, joint control and motion algorithms provide the foundation for physical execution.
The platform-based approach enables technologies to be reused across multiple product categories, markets and real-world scenarios rather than serving a single product alone.
ECHO as a Research-Stage Platform for Physical AI Technology Validation
At IFA 2026, Dreame showcased the research-stage ECHO S1, a single-arm wheeled service robot, and ECHO P1, a wheeled humanoid service robot. The two platforms are being used to explore how Dreame’s perception, model and control technologies can work together across multi-step household tasks.
The ECHO S1 explores continuous household laundry-care tasks, including garment recognition, sorting, washing, drying, and transferring dried laundry into a basket. The ECHO P1 explores multi-step household service tasks including tidying, organization, and object transport.
The ECHO series provides a research-stage platform for validating how the Omni-Perception System, Unified Home Intelligence Model and Intelligent Actuation & Control System can work together across more complex, multi-step physical tasks.
